We hope that everyone has had a great holiday season! San Francisco customers, Recology will be collecting trees on your regular service day from January 2 – January 17.
Trees can be composted, but only if they’re completely free of all tinsel, decorations, plastic bags, stands, and lights! Once your tree is bare, you can place any branches or sections smaller than 3 feet into your compost bin. Please place unflocked trees smaller than 6 feet beside your compost bin the night before your collection day. If your tree is taller than 6 feet, please cut it in half!
