Recology Sonoma Marin provides sweeping services to customers across Sonoma and Marin counties. Here are some ways you can help us access as much of your street as possible to ensure we can keep your streets clean:

• • • Don’t pile your leaves at the curb: Large piles of leaves can cause problems for our sweeper trucks and can clog nearby storm drains when it rains. Also, the materials picked up by our sweeper trucks go to the landfill, and your yard waste should instead be placed in your green cart. This organic matter will be collected and turned into nutrient-rich compost.
    • Move items away from the curb: Please move cars, carts, and basketball hoops from the curb the night before your sweep day. If these items are on the street when the sweeper truck comes, we cannot clean the area they occupy.
    • Allow 15ft of clearance: Please keep a minimum of 15ft clearance for trees hanging over the street. If there is not enough clearance, our trucks cannot fit.
