to divert as many materials as possible away from the landfill.

Pick up a Kitchen Countertop Pail: Petaluma residents can now pick up a countertop kitchen pail to make it easier to compost your food scraps.
Please visit one of these locations to grab your pail. Call your desired pick-up location prior to arrival to confirm supplies are available.

Sweep Days: Please make sure to move your vehicle off the street on sweep days. Sweep day is weekly, the day after your normal trash service day.
Customers with trash service on Fridays will receive sweep service Mondays.

Holiday Tree Recycling: Curbside collection of holiday trees will take place Dec 30 – Jan 4 on your service day. After these dates, trees can be cut to fit inside your green cart, with stakes removed, for collection on your regular service day. Drop-off available: Petaluma Fairgrounds at 175 Fairgrounds Dr, Dec 26 – Jan 17.
