FOOD SCRAPS & YARD DEBRIS
All food scraps, food-soiled paper (without shiny plastic coating), approved compostable packaging and bags, yard waste and untreated wood go in the green food and yard waste bin. Food waste should be prepared loose in your cart, or packaged in a certified compostable container inside your cart.

RecycleBin

RECYCLE
Clean paper and cardboard, plastic containers, glass, and metal. Seattle residential, multi-family, and commercial garbage service includes recycling collection at no additional charge. Recycling should be prepared loose in your cart. For additional material that cannot fit inside your cart place next to your cart in a 2’x2’x2′ cardboard box.

GARBAGE
What’s left? Not much! Non-recyclable paper or plastics (single plastic bags and food packaging), foam trays and containers, empty paint cans, pet litter, broken glass, and ceramics to name a few. We aim to send as little to the landfill as possible. Garbage should be bagged and placed inside your cart.

Northeast Seattle
(North of the Ship Canal and East of I-5)
Recology helps businesses reduce waste, recycle more and save money. Services are offered by the bag, cart, or container, and can be scaled to match your business needs. Collection can occur weekly or multiple times per day. We also provide containers and recycling guides for your staff. Special materials can be collected upon request.
