*Once each calendar year, Burien residential customers may place one larger item (i.e. mattress, dishwasher, refrigerator) at the curb for pick-up. In addition, customers may request a free collection of up to one cubic yard of smaller items. All items must be placed at the curb and no individual item may be larger than 2 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet or weigh more than 65lbs. The prices above are effective for any additional items.
Recycling
Burien residential garbage service includes recycling collection at no additional charge. Your recycling cart will be emptied every other week on your garbage collection day.

Burien residential garbage service includes food and yard waste collection at no additional charge. Your food and yard waste cart will be emptied every week on your garbage collection day.
