Recology accepts holiday trees for curbside recycling until January 17, 2025! Flocked trees (sprayed with artificial snow) are not accepted. Remove all decorations, tinsel, and tree stands. Cut your tree into three-foot sections. Place small branches/pieces inside the cart. Place your organics cart at the curb alongside your tree.

Electronic waste, such as fluorescent tubes and consumer batteries, are prohibited from the trash. Drop off e-waste at the Sunnyvale SMaRT Station or the Mountain View Recycling Center.
Residents may exchange a cleanup appointment for a voucher to haul items directly to the SMaRT Station at no charge.
