At Recology, we believe it is important to contribute to the communities where we live and work. Each of our companies participates in community activities and many of our employees are individually involved in their local communities. In addition, Recology has a Volunteer Program where as a group we come together to provide volunteer services.

In April 2008, 120 Recology employees volunteered to restore the Early Bird Preschool playground in San Mateo through Rebuilding Together Peninsula. In addition to the playground restoration our employee volunteers assisted Early Bird Preschool with interior and exterior painting, gardening, and kitchen and community hall clean-up.
